Description: Vintage Signed 1976 Hand Carved Eskimo Inuit Seal Hunter with Bear Wood Carving Sculpture Figurine. Signed on the bottom, "Ralph Smart, 1976". Measures 14 1/2" long, 2 3/4" wide and is 4 1/2" high. It has been repaired--split in the middle width wise. You can really only see the crack when you flip it over. The repair is only visible from the underneath. Please see pictures. Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age. That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire. If there are any major issues or defects, I try to describe them to the best of my ability and as accurately as possible.
