Description: Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You're looking at a somewhat rarer and unique Shure mic from the 1970's. It's called the 560 "Economy Lavalier" model that could be used for a variety if purposes but this one is intended to be attached to a lavalier necklace to be used live for speeches or broadcasting purposes. It comes with the mic clip and long cable shown. Pic # 2 is from an old 1980's era catalog showing this very model and it's basic characteristics. This mic could also be hand held or could slide onto a standard Shure A25 model mic clip giving you a few different options. The Shure 560 model dynamic microphone has onmi-directional characteristics. The signal strength on this old mic is 100%. Like new and absolutely no issues. It's a dual impedance mic but it's currently set at low impedance because of the male Switchcraft XLR end connector so if you need a 560 in high impedance I have one of those for sale as well in another listing. This example has more of a clear mid range tone that has a minimum of bass. This mic will also make a good harp mic or for use with a HAM radio. This example has typical cosmetic wear. The flat black finish has small scuff marks and scratches but zero dents or pitting. Shure badge still looks excellent and completely legible. Please let the detailed pics be your guide. Mic is 100% solid. No loose parts. The front screen shows no dents, odors or tarnish. The foam inner pop filter was replaced and in excellent shape. This greatly helps reduce the unwanted "pops" you get from breathing or singing to close to the mic. The attached 5 inch cable is soft, pliable and free of damage. It comes with the quality Switchcraft male XLR end connector. Simply attach any longer XLR cable of choice for length. An XLR to XLR cable will keep the low impedance setting. An XLR to male 1/4 inch cable will give you high impedance. The mic is an easy 7 on a scale of 1 - 10. The original older Shure A-25 model model mic clip is also included and a perfect fit for this mic grasping it nicely and giving it a wide degree of tilt up and down. It shows typical wear but works excellent. This A-25 is the all metal early version with the plastic sleeve. MICROPHONE STAND SHOWN IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE AND USED FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY...
