Description: This is a pair of vintage, but still perfectly functional, Chouinard Super Gaiters, size 31". They are over boot gaiters that cinch to the welt and have straps that fasten underneath. This item will actually include THREE gaiters, since there is one snap missing on one of them, so the extra gaiter can be used for replacement components. All the other hardware is in excellent condition. These gaiters provide a secure attachment to the boot through a reliable strap and buckle system that creates a snug welt closure. The materials are "bombproof". The lower section is made of waterproof ballistics cloth with a reinforced toe cap of tough polyvinyl chloride. The upper is taslan nylon with a taffeta lining. The full-length zipper lets you get in and out of the Super Gaiter while it is still attached to your boot. This is a size 31", so use a flexible tape to measure the circumference of your boot just above the welt. These are vintage and perfect for a collector, but still completely functional and great for a climber who wants to show up and impress his climbing buddies. Might be a little dusty, but from a smoke-free, pet-free home.
