Description: VINTAGE 1966, USA MAKER SIGNED, 10K YELLOW GOLD 0.05 CT DIAMOND ACCENT AND SEED PEARLS, DELTA ZETA, COLLEGE SORORITY, ROMAN LAMP SHAPED, SMALL LAPEL PIN IT IS PERSONALLY ENGRAVED, MEASURES 9/16" x 9/16", TOTAL WEIGHT OF 3.7 GRAMS It is personally engraved on the back with the original owners name and BK 3-25-66, otherwise, it shows typical light wear from use and storage, including minor surface marks and scratches. It has been gently hand polished and cleaned, and it has nice shine, and is very clean. It is straight, not bent, clasp is tight and secure, gemstones have nice color and clarity, with no major issues at all. It is hallmarked on the back 10K along with either a pictomark shape or conjoined BP maker's mark, but we are unfamiliar with this maker. It has been stone and acid tested and confirms 10K gold and the diamond was tested with a Gemlogis Ciel tester and confirms diamond. This is a great, very collectible piece for those that are members of this sorority! You could wear it as it is and continue the history behind it or take it to your local jeweler to have the engraving professionally removed.
