Description: Mattel Ken doll yellow vinyl carrying or travel case in really excellent condition. Even considering it's age, this case looks fantastic - the exterior vinyl is clean with no dirt, marks or stains.The handle is intact, has one surface scratch on it. There is no rust on this carrying case - the little metal rivets on the bottom, sides and even the snap clasp closure on the top has patina but no rust or damage. Amazing. The only things that keep this 1961 case from looking almost new on the outside is that there are 2 little cuts in the vinyl at the bottom front where it opens and closes. The one on the far left side edge is 3/4" horizontal and the one on the far right side is 1/2" vertical. And there are some light stains in the yellow pants that Ken is wearing and a couple of light stains on the blue background of the middle Barbie wearing the fur cuffs.The inside show some use, as would be expected, but the vinyl top is very clean with no overall damage. There are 2 1/4" tears in the vinyl at the bottom where the hinge is. The vinyl inside has a couple of marks, but no tears. when you lift out the loose paper storage compartment there are stains from what is likely rubber cement. It is also on the left side at the bottom. This will come with a bonus cap and sandals and a couple of hangers.
