Description: With fabulous graphics and two pictorial maps, this vintage tourist souvenir map of Madrid is an interesting piece of ephemera from the 1960s. One side has a pictorial map of the city center by José Garcia-Ochoa with general tourist information such as festival dates, weather, and museum attractions. The other side has a birds-eye view map by José Loeches commissioned to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Madrid as the capitol of Spain. The vintage Madrid map is suitable for framing hanging as wall decor. The circa 1961 map shows wear consistent with its age, use, and storage including some toning to the paper, wear around the edges, and some tears at the folds, and on the cover.
