Description: Vintage 1960's "Disneyland" Park Souvenir featuring Tinker Bell and the five park attractions or "lands" - Crafted in Japan this hand rolled silk scarf is one of the smaller sizes at 16 1/2" x 16 1/2". (SS020) CONDITIONOverall in GOOD condition. Bright colors, sharp and crisp graphics, edges are intact and without fabric issues, minor discoloration seen with two darker stains at Frontierland and Fantasyland. Shows thread pulls and fabric pulls, small hole seen at right center below Tomorrowland. The distinctive rough (aka “slubby”) texture in many silk fabrics are from using silk fibers that contain natural bumps and lumps from the source cocoon. Silk fabrics, or blended silk fabrics and manufactured fabrics, are susceptible to stretching, or pulling, the fabrics apart and are more common than not.
