Vintage 1960's Astatic F-11 microphone adapter for D-104 77L DR10 DNHZ # 1

Description: Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at an older and somewhat harder to come by Astatic model F-11 microphone / stand adapter that comes with a 12 foot cable and male 1/4 inch type end connector. The F-11 connector itself is vintage while the cable and 1/4 inch connector is newer. This unique F-11 adapter allows you to use most older Astatic microphones due to the different 3 pin design this company was using from the 1930's to the 1970's. Made from solid brass with a beautiful polished chrome finish. Pic # 2 is from a 1960's Astatic catalog showing this adapter and it's characteristics. Pic # 9 shows an Astatic D-104 while pics # 7 & 8 show an Astatic DNHZ model on top of this F-11 adapter to show you how the adapter works with the Astatic microphones though the microphones are not included. As you can see this polished chrome piece has the 3 pin connection for Astatic mics to be mounted to such as the 77A, DR10, 10D, 10C, DN-50 to name a few. This adapter is intended to be screwed onto and desk or floor stand of choice. Once attached you could use your Astatic mic. This adapter ONLY works with Astatic models due to it's unique design. This cannot be used with Shure or Electro Voice mics. The F-11's newer cable is in excellent condition. The chrome finish on the F-11 is darn near perfect with zero dent's or corrosion. The cable and adapter is properly wired and grounded so you won't have any issues. Many of these older F-11 adapters need service as the wiring is not properly grounded or even connected which causes unwanted feedback such as buzzing and humming.
