Description: 'Super rare' Oldsmobile Printer's Advertising Glass plate, for individual dealer printing of paper and magazine ads. This features a 1954 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Holiday with factory graphics of a lady with the Olds and a background. It also has a rear image with 1954 as the license plate, and the Oldsmobile "rocket" in the bottom left corner. With this clear plate, an auto dealer could use their own print copy in the clear section with factory approved artwork to compose their newspaper or magazine print ad. The glass measures an overall 14" x 17" with marks to have a finished ad 10" x 12". I have not attempted to clean this from as found condition, but there are no scratches in the artwork. There is one small chip in the top right corner as shown in photos, which is out of the printing field. See last photo to see what a print ad made up with this looks like. This would be very cool for making a story of your own 1954 Oldsmobile and frame. I will ship this sandwiched between 2 pieces of wood and bubble wrapped to assure that it arrives safely.
