Description: For sale, Vintage 1950's West Germany 3" Ball Blue Turquoise Hand Blown Mercury Glass Christmas Ornaments Original BOX included. I actually have 4 boxes of these ornaments and they all look the same. My grandma(her house photo included), worked for Hudson's in Detroit and had so many neat vintage decorations I inherited. I've had these since the 70s and have never used them. They have been stored in a water proof container and now I'd like to pass them on to someone who will care for them and use them as our family did. I'm not decorating with a tree anymore so hence why I'm selling. Stored since the 1970s, these ornaments have been in the family since the 50s and I've included a photo of the balls on a tree in 1959. I'm the little girl in the photo. Considering their age, the balls are excellent vintage condition and all have the original caps and hooks, and the original box which is stamped West Germany.
