Description: Vintage 1950's turned wood salt and pepper shakers are hand painted.The bottoms have cork stoppers that are ink stamped "JAPAN". These little gems are so nostalgic with their S & P Chef's hats and red polka dotted bow ties. They are clean and appear to have never been used. There is some wear around the holes on the red paint on the pepper shaker Chef's hat. That piece also has a small gouge on the edge of the top which may be a manufacturing flaw sinceit is painted over. It can be seen best in our second photo.
