Vintage 1950s MCM Lamp Ceramic Boomerangs Mid Century Atomic Era Modern Lighting

Description: ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era table lamp. Circa '50s. The lamp is constructed of a ribbed ceramic body that rests atop a round brass metal base at the bottom. The surface has random boomerang shapes throughout that are slightly raised (see photos). Colors: Off-white, Brown and spotted gold accent coloration throughout. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain of the maker as there are no labels / tags present. There is currently no shade - it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own. MEASUREMENTS: The lamp measures approx. 27" tall (measured from the bottom of the round brass metal base to the top of the finial). The distance from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket is approx. 19.25 high. The ceramic portion of the lamp body, excluding the round metal base, measures approx. 12" tall x 5.5" wide x 5.5" deep. The round metal base measures approx. 5.75" in diameter. CONDITION: The lamp is in great condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The round metal brass base shows minute traces of tarnishing that come with age, but nothing that we'd deem objectionable (see photos). The electrical wiring is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc, and it looks to be original to the lamp. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked prior to long-term use.
