Description: LOT of 8 Haskelite MCM Mid Century Modern individual lap trays. They are "made of selected wood covered with fine lithographed paper" in Chicago, Illinois. These are great -- the lithograph features 3 ducks (2 mallards & 1 hen) in flight against a background of clouds and wood grain. Very MCM! They are lightweight -- about 3 pounds for all 8. The perfect size for your lap -- about 16 inches long by about 8 inches wide. They range from GREAT condition to EXCELLENT condition. Since they are paper over wood, there is some wear to the edges -- just a few of them have some wear in the upper left region. It must be where you hold onto them while using a fork with your right hand. On the back, there are a few that have scratches or scuffs where the paper has work off. I've included photos of those areas. The front parts with the ducks are remarkably intact -- colorful and attractive! See photos for more details, as they are also a part of the description!
