Vintage 1950’s Fabulous Rockabilly Dress with Rhinestone by Jean Junior

Description: This dress is truly fabulous in person! RHINESTONES all through out the dress. The fabric is a plaid, black and white. It is so crispy clean that it actually stands by itself. The facing is intact on the inside. Take a look at the pictures. Hard to believe it’s over 60 years old. Nice crispy clean with a side zipper , the spaghetti straps are velvet so that would make it very comfortable to wear. Zipper works perfectly also has hook and eye for closure. One detail I wanted to point out is it has a triangular fold at the bust not sure what kind of effect that supposed to do but it is supposed to be there. You can tell by the construction on the inside. There is a safety pin placed on the inside. I did not do that. I will be leaving it there because it does need to have it stitched back on that’s just the way I purchased it. I will let the new owner take care of that really isn’t a big deal. It has belt loops and it comes with a sheer sash that I believe to be original? The rhinestones are prong set with only a couple of dull ones. The rest are shiny and beautiful. The label reads miss Jane junior originals. Perfect with Springolators. Although the dress is clean, I always recommend a trip to the cleaners, or a gentle hand wash with woolite. On this particular dress, I would not recommend to wash at home. It is already clean. It will be up to you if you want to take it to the cleaners but I honestly don’t think it needs it. It’s that good! MEASUREMENTS Vintage size 9 however, please see measurements. B-36 *honestly believe it would fit a 34 inch bust better. W-26 *honestly believe it would fit a 24 inch waist better. H- open L-46 shoulder to waist 16 CONDITION: My opinion is near excellent. Please take a look at all pictures as they are part of the description. Only issue to report other than a few dead rhinestones a few little rust? Stains right at the waist line that would be covered by the belt or sash.
