Shoes are in very good vintage condition: Due to age, the leather had hardened; I began the softening process and have gotten quite a bit of moisture and some malleability back to the leather, but depending on the size of your foot, it could use more. There is a bit of where on both heels and a tiny bit around the toe area; in my opinion, all of the where is negligible, and the shoes look fantastic for their age. The heel tips were replaced and are brand new-they have absolutely no wear on them. The inside of the shoe is Super clean; clearly, they were worn by someone who only put clean feet inside of the shoe. * Measurement indicates it’s a 6 1/2 size shoe, But because of the hardening of the leather, they are tight; I am a size 6 shoe and have relatively narrow feet, and while since conditioning the leather, I can easily get my foot in the shoe they are definitely constricting so they may be better for a size 5 or 5 1/2 foot as is. With a bit more leather conditioning, I believe they can be worn at their intended size ( but no guarantees) Evins shoes were the “Manolo Blahnik‘s” of their time; in fact, they were the first “Manolo Blahnik‘s” to ever exist.
