Description: Vintage Excello Porcelain Baby Warming Dish made in April 1948 by Excello Porcelain. This adorable dish has 2 handles and measures just over 9" from handle to handle. It is 7 7/8" in diameter and sits 2 1/2" high. The inside is hollow so hot water can be poured into a hole on top and will warm baby's food. The original stopper is missing but corks can be used if you intend to use it. It has 3 sections to keep food separated and each section has images of the 3 Bears done in pastel colors. The images are in great shape with very minimal wear. There is some crazing in different parts of the dish but still very usable. There is one small chip on the side rim. (see last close up photo). The bottom of the bowl is impressed with the Excello name and "Apr 1948" is stamped in gold. Lovely piece of mid-century Nursery ware.
