Its tagline was “When you celebrate … Enjoy America’s Party Drink!” The large size bottle was particularly designed to be used as a mixer for drinks with the size marketed for larger gatherings (since it was meant to serve six). It's interesting to note that these “party size” bottles were introduced directly after the end of Prohibition. During the 1950's, the bottle size was actively promoted as a perfect alcoholic beverage mixer: “There’s extra flair at parties whenever Par-T-Pak is served! Par-T-Pak “mixers” are so invigorating they stir as they pour! Highballs no longer need to be swizzled or stirred!
