Description: This beautiful Tribal rug makes it's way from the Aksaray - Selime Monastery in Cappadocia. It features a beautiful ivory and midnight blue medallion atop a crimson and midnight blue field. Three beautiful borders surround this beauty with many motifs that beg to be deciphered. This rug features an extremely dense, tightly woven wool pile that is great for high traffic areas. Natural dyes and colors include: midnight blue, crimson, ivory, gold olive, and more.  This hand made rug is made of non-shedding hand spun wool making it easy to clean, and making it incredibly soft to walk and lounge on. This densely woven wool rug contains natural oils called lanolin that naturally resist dirt and grime, therefore allowing it to look cleaner for much longer than synthetic rugs. Regular vacuuming will remove any dirt and grime, and allow you to enjoy your rug for many decades.  We are a long time family run business based in the U.S. with direct support from our family in Turkey. We source our inventory directly from Turkey and the surrounding regions. Everyone involved in our business is very passionate about the rugs we offer.
