Description: A beautiful vintage dress from the 1920s! Medium weight black rayon with classic 1920s drop waist styling. Near-open fit from underarm to hem. Short curved sleeves trimmed with little studded beads. Front of bodice heavily beaded with rows of silver and red beads with large medallion at center front waist. Straight cut skirt with large scale vining rose in silver and red up each side. Separated bead band runs from waist to hem on each side, with single rose beaded panel at back of skirt. Condition is fair to good; overall the color is not a saturated black, and has started to change to a warmer tone. Damaged and orange area at right side waist and further down along right side seam of skirt. Beaded band at right side skirt has detached at waist. Possibly some missing beads. A few orange splotches scattered throughout, at front center waist, one on sleeve and one at hem. Fabric is strong and wearable. 50” long from shoulder to hem 20” shoulder to drop waist 44” bust 36” drop waist 38” hips
