Each has a pear-shaped faceted natural emerald with a beautiful medium green color and natural modest inclusions with one of them having tiny surface inclusions that reach the table of the gemstone not very noteworthy and they most likely have a standard industry form of treatment common for emeralds . Each emerald measures 7.7 mm x 5.1 mm and they have been calculated through a online calculator at .64 ct each and they do look bigger but emeralds aren't that heavy, they are very well crafted with the emerald shimmering inside a halo of VVS diamonds , the small emeralds on top are about 3.2 mm each giving them 0.060 ct each gives these earrings about 1.40 cts emeralds and .50 cts diamonds for a total gem carat weight around 1.90 cts emeralds and diamonds combined . The pair weighs 7 grams and each earring measures over 1 inch top to bottom , on the back each has a sturdy post and a hinged lever that is marked 14 K on the back .
