Description: What a beautifully hand painted platter!I found this at an estate auction where the lady who had owned this was from China. She had gotten it there and kept it in Excellent used condition.It measures 13 1/2" across and stands 2" from the table. The platter is divided into 4 sections with a painted picture in the center also. Two of the sections have flowers, birds, and butterflies all hand painted in greens, pinks, blues, yellows, orange and browns. The alternating two sections have Chinese people sitting around in a room and is painted in greens, pinks, blues, and black. The border separating the 4 sections have pink flowers and green leaves with curly scrolls and scallops. It looks like it has been glazed to keep it shiny. Around the rim of the platter and in the center, there is a gold painted frame.
