I bought my 1st Whites Coin Detector in 1975 while in the army and stationed in Hawaii. my intent was to sweep the beaches. I never made it to the beach as I was finding countless WWI & WWII era coins at Schofield Barracks and Hickam Air Field. I used the detector for many years in 3 states and questioned weather by back or the detector wore out first.
