Description: Vintage 10k Gold Esemco Nephrite Jade Ring Pretty Scalloped Mount 6.1gr Sz 7.5 Click images to enlarge Description Offered today is a solid 10k yellow gold vintage nephrite jade ring by fine jewelry manufacturer Shiman Mfg Co of Newark NJ. The ring is circa early 1950s, by the hallmark, and is marked ESEMCO as their trademark. (please excuse reflection in the stone, as pics were taken in natural light) The stone in this ring is an interesting color, and has some transparency when viewed under a lamp. It is a lively deep mossy green, with bits of white mottled within the green, and it tests in the "nephrite" jade range on the Presidium gem tester. It's set in four prong in a pretty, scalloped oval mounting. The ring is a nice large size to be noticed on the hand. This ring is hallmarked ESEMCO 10k, and the face measures 1" north to south by 5/8 side to side . It weighs a hefty 6.1 grams, is a size 7.5, and is in excellent vintage condition.
