Description: Offered for sale is this beautiful 1" vintage Bakelite bracelet with a hexagonal/pentagon faceted design! The bracelet was originally made from a beautiful shade of translucent green colored Bakelite. Over the years since the bracelet was made, the patina has darkened a bit and lost some of its original translucency. You can get a good idea of the original color from photo # 5. The artist did a fantastic job with the facets; they are beautifully executed and really look beautiful! There is a two rows of hexagonal facets down the center of the bracelet with pentagon shaped facets along each edge. The bracelet has a 2.5" interior diameter and weighs 28 grams. The bracelet is in excellent condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were noted in the bracelet.
