This map serves as a souvenir of the Vietnam War.-Condition: Shows signs of time, made of very fine paper, in very good condition.-Measures: 29 x 44,88 inches (74cm x 114cm). -Quang Duc is an old province in the Republic of Vietnam period located on the Mo Nong plateau in the Central Highlands (Central Vietnam).-Quang Duc province was established by Decree No. 24-NV dated January 23, 1959 of the government of the Republic of Vietnam, on the basis of separating almost all of Dak Song district (except for Dak Lao total in the north) and part of Dak Song district in the north. Lak district from Darlac province (Dak Lak), along with a small part of Phuoc Long province and Lam Dong province. In 1962, another part of Dak Lak province was split into Quang Duc province. From the point of view of the Montagnards, the government's establishment of Quang Duc province in 1959 was intended to create favorable conditions for the Kinh people, especially the North, to migrate to mountainous areas. -Please see the photo carefully.
