Description: The Victron Phoenix series inverters are competitively priced yet efficient and built to last. One of the specifications we're asked about on smaller inverters is the no-load power consumption, and this is one of the areas where the Victron Phoenix really shines, with about half the consumption of the closest competition. 12V models have a search mode that lowers it even more, to an amazing 0.8 to 1.0 watts. That's just one example of the engineering that has gone into these quality inverters. If you really need to rely on your inverter, or you're just tired of tossing your budget models in the trash every few years, we highly recommend these. Please Note: This 250VA inverter cannot reliably run a Starlink system. For a Gen2 Starlink we have found that the 375VA inverters can usually run the system so long as the dish heating elements (if equipped) are disabled; for Gen1 Starlink systems or systems with heating elements we would recommend the 500VA inverters. The inverters are short circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature. High start-up power Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or electric tools. ECO mode When in ECO mode, the inverter will switch to standby when the load decreases below a preset value. Once in standby the inverter will switch on for a short period (adjustable, default: every 2,5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on. Remote on/off A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two pole connector, or between battery plus and the left hand contact of the two pole connector. Built-in protection All models feature low battery voltage, high battery voltage, high temperature, overload, and short circuit protection.
