Description: A FINE PAIR OF VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN ERA COPIES OF 16th CENTURY EMBOSSED GERMAN KNEE DEFENSES, ca. 1580/1910: In overall fine condition and constructed of heavy-gauge roll-pressed steel with turned edges. Smooth steel-gray outer surfaces with finely embossed medial ridges and borders. The lightly toned, steel-gray surfaces with scattered discoloration and some expected fine pitting. The interiors with black-painted surfaces and some scattered discoloration/pitting.
