Description: Victorian Fireplace Tile Earthenware Design by Lewis Foreman Maw & Co C1890 This is an extremely rare and very beautifully-crafted earthenware tile with a relief moulded pattern of trees as design, designed by Lewis Foreman Day and manufactured by Maw & Co circa 1890.The tile is in good condition with very light surface damage and other surface marks, as well as a few tiny chips around the edges. It measures 6" x 6" (15.2cm x 15.2cm) square.
