Description: A Grand Victorian Antique Oak Roll Top (S-roll) Office Desk with Rotary File and Type writer pullout shelf.( Includes viantage ROYAL Typewriter) Made/sold by E.H. Stafford & Bros., Chicago c. 1895. This is a beautiful S-Roll, double pedestal style desk with a sliding tambour top. The right pedestal features a rotary swing away file which still has the alphabetical file books in the drawers, with one drawer above the rotary file The left pedestal has a pull-out typewriter shelf and includes a vintage ROYAL typewriter. This shelf/typewriter storage has a sliding tambour panel to cover the opening and two large drawers below it. More special feature include: Made with beautiful Oak wood A locking tambour style top with new lock, catch and 2 keys. The top works smoothly. It also has a secret, functioning locking system, for when the S-roll top is closed it locks the entire desk except for the upper right drawer on the right pedestal. The sliding tambour panel to the typewriter and the two drawers below it along with the rotary file on the right are all secured. Dimensions : 60” Wide X 33” Deep X 53 ½” Tall Note: It does have minor stains, dings, and scratches from age.
