Description: Victorian small sterling silver vinaigrette, with a rectangle shape, a hinged lid, an engine turned lid and base, and a vacant scrolled cartouche to the lid. Inside is gilded, with its acanthus pierced hinged grill, and oasis sponge inside. Made by Aston & Son, and assayed in Birmingham, 1860, with the Victoria duty mark.
