Description: You are bidding on One USED Very Rare Chalkley's Turkey Call. This handmade call was manufactured by E.G. Chalkley in Richmond VA during the timeframe of 1923-1937. It has a paper label attached and has the Jackson Pat. number listed on it. The label is intact and is firmly attached. The call is made of a lightweight wood. The box part of the call measures 4" long x 1-3/4 inches wide. It is in good working condition. The call has a push rod that makes the call sound when pushed. The rod springs back when released. The call has a sliding door section in the front that opens to the inside of the call. The inside of the call reveals a handmade slide bar with original pencil markings on it. This is a very neat and very old call and would be a nice addition to your collection. This auction is for the one turkey call only - nothing else is included.
