VERY RARE! Demon City Shinjuku Vintage Anime Art Book

Description: Imported from Japan, this is a very rare vintage art book for the 1988 vintage anime OVA Demon City Shinjuku 魔界都市〈新宿〉, directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, who helmed similar vintage cult classics such as Wicked City and Ninja Scroll. This artbook is slightly thicker than a magazine, consisting of 64 pages, half of which feature beautiful, full-color illustrations and cel-quality stills from the animation, while the later half of the book consists of black and white production sketches for characters, backgrounds, etc. Demon City Shinjuku has been firmly in my top 10 anime since seeing it for the first time in the 1990s due to its striking character design, beautifully painted backgrounds, vibrant color palettes, and mesmerizing atmosphere. Artistically speaking, it is an underrated visual masterpiece, and this book does a great job of capturing the beauty of its artwork. The item itself appears to be in flawless condition; it may have been read once but there are are no tears, creases, or stains throughout any part of the book, and no odors to speak of. The item currently comes from a pet-free, smoke-free environment where it is kept sealed in a temperature controlled environment until it's ready to ship to its rightful owner. Buy with confidence!
