Description: Very Rare Antique Handpainted Dry Sink. This dry sink is in wonderful condition for its age. The measurements are 29“ x 17 1/2“ x 30“ tall. 29 inches is from the handle to handle the actual top is 27 inches wide. This is truly a remarkable piece, I’ve only seen one other similar and they were asking thousands of dollars.I’m not sure of age but my guess is 19th century early 20th century. As you can see stamped inside the door “ from Henderson furniture company Woodstock New York“. When I bought this piece the top was cracked and splintered all the way across I don’t know when those support pieces under the lid were installed but I took out the slotted screws and replace with Phillips head for better stability. I planed, filed, and glued The broken pieces and reinstalled the brackets on the bottom. The hinges are original with their slotted screws you can see the handles have dowels going through the side with small dowels going through dowels that can be removed to remove handles if necessary. The picture of the inside and the back show how primitive this piece is. Here is some warp to the lid inside with the few cracks that aren’t structural and just add to the ambience of the piece The whole piece is painted stained her to look like it does it’s amazing.. this piece will have to be picked up locally no shipping. Any questions please email thanks Mike.
