Description: Beautiful old doll bonnet, still usable but showing its age. The main fabric is dimity in off white with a small blue floral print. It is lined in stiff blue cotton organdy, and gathered bands of blue organdy trim the exterior near the crown and around the front edge. There is a black velvet ribbon on the brim ending in a bow on the right side. The left side is trimmed with tiny ribbon flowers. The organdy trim along the front edge is fraying, and there is much age yellowing to the fabric. The black velvet ribbon and ribbon flowers are faded. But the bonnet is structurally sound with no tears other than the fraying. Ribbon chin ties are securely attached. Please measure your doll's head before you bid. I think this will fit an approximately 18" baby doll but I am not sure; there were many antique dolls at the sale and I am not sure which one wore this. from back center seam to curve of front brim edge is about 5". It's about 10" from one lower front corner to the other, going behind the neck. From front corner to front corner going over the brim is about 11.25".
