Description: Very EARLY 20TH C Vintage or Antique H. P. HOOD & SONS METAL / IRON HANDLED MILK CAN JUG. It is BLACK and the top of the handle has the Hood name embossed in capital letters. It is welded some mild exterior rust. There are no holes in this that I can see. It appears to made of iron and is fairly heavy, weighing 4 lbs. 15 oz., measures almost 14" tall at the highest point of the handle, 7.75" across the base, and 3.5" across the mouth of the jug.
