Description: Up for sale is a pair of Vernon Kilns Pottery Santa Barbara salt and pepper shakers measuring 2" tall. These shakers is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, and NO damage to the dispensing holes because someone tried to clear them with a fork tine. The pepper shaker does have a stain on top from someone leaving wet pepper in it for a long time. The stain my come out, with a peroxide soak, but I am still pricing this set accordingly. The Santa Barbara pattern was produced in 1939 on Vernon Kiln's very Art Deco 'Ultra' shape. In 1939 Vernon Kilns also produced 4 other Chintz style patterns (Santa Clara, Santa Maria, Santa Paula, Santa Rosa) that, if a collector was so inclined, could be mixed and matched with Santa Barbara pieces. Today I am listing a large assortment of dinnerware in the beautiful and rare Santa Barbara pattern (see last photo) so please check out my other listings. I am always happy to offer a combined shipping discount (refund) for multiple items purchased on the same calendar day.
