This is a Vera Bradley Large Duffle Bag in the 2006 JAVA BLUE VINTAGE PATTERN. PRETTY FOR FALL OR ANYTIME OF THE YEAR! It's in good pre-owned condition with a *FLAW. BUT? STILL VERY USUABLE! *THE FLAW? IS THE FACT THAT THE ZIPPER GLIDES EASILY UNTIL THE LAST 4-INCHES. I OPENED AND CLOSED IT 20-TIMES! BUT THE ZIPPER PULL WILL ONLY GO TO 4" FROM THE END. SO? I DIDN'T FORCE THE ISSUE. BUT WITH JUST 4" FROM THE END OF THE 22" LONG ZIPPER? YOU CAN STILL EASILY PACK & USE IT. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY IT STOPS? PERHAPS IT WAS SUPER GLUED UNDERNEATH? BUT SINCE THE ZIPPER IS PLASTIC? I DID NOT WANT TO FORCE IT AND IT PERHAPS BREAK? BUT AS I SAID? I DID OPEN AND CLOSE IT 20-TIMES AT LEAST! AND IT STOPS AT THE SAME POINT EVERY TIME. PLUS IT GLIDES SMOOTHLY UNTIL YOU GET TO THAT POINT. SO? YOU CAN STILL USE IT AS IT IS? OR IF YOU'RE A SEAMSTRESS? YOU CAN PUT A NEW ZIPPER IN IT. Plus? It still has its Original Black Vera Bradley Zipper Ribbon Tie on it. This Retired Vera Bradley Pattern called JAVA BLUE? Came out in Fall 2006 and was retired long ago. It once had a cardboard base to slip in the bottom fabric sleeve. But you can easily measure the sleeve and make a slightly smaller cardboard base to slip in it. That allows you to remove it when washing. I usually don't put one in because it makes shipping size and cost-$ go up. I LOVE the BLUES, BROWNS & BLACK COLOR SCHEME. SO STUNNING FOR FALL OR ANYTIME OF THE YEAR! As with all pre-owned Vera Bradley Bags I Sell? It was washed in my washer with GAIN Detergent. Then new brown butcher wrapping paper is put inside to let it line dry +keep its shape.+Make sure any slight remaining moisture is absorbed and gone. I Do This With All Pre-Owned Vera Bradley Bags And It Works Well. I then try to reinspect the bag and note any flaws I might see. With my Cataracts? I can occasionally miss tiny threads that may need clipped in the quilting in the pattern. But I usually catch larger areas where stitching is loose in the Pattern. Or any stitching missing on seams. But in this lovely bag? I saw NO loose Seams with stitching gone. I did see places along the interior under the zipper where tiny threads need clipped. But after I clipped a few? I decided to leave the rest to its new owner! (Plus spare my eyes !) As With All Duffle Bags? I always check the cloth double handles 1st. But the double handles on this bag? Are in Good Shape. Just a bit faded but uniformly so. The base of this bag is in good condition as all the sides are. It's faded uniformly but still Pretty Blues Browns & Blacks. It had NO stains anywhere but I did wash it and hung it up to dry. As with all Pre-Owned Vera Bradley Items I Sell? ALL are of Quality and Look that I Myself Would GLADLY Use Them or Have! But? Since I'm Homebound 95%time? W/Severe Perm. Nerve Damage? (I Rarely go anywhere but my monthly Dr. VISIT.) Because to Sit & Ride in a Car Even a Few Minutes? I see NO heavy wear on either so they're still in sturdy good condition. The exterior of the bag is made of durable quilted cotton with a Lovely Blue+Turquoise Blue, Brown & Black Floral Paisley Pattern. As common on most Vintage Vera Bradley Duffle Bags? It has one large pocket on 1-End. Plus? It has Vera Bradley written in script different places in the pattern. It also was made in the U.S.A. so you know it was made with good quality. The interior is also lined with quilted soft cotton. This one has a geometric Brown, Blue, Turquoise & Black pattern that makes for a very pretty interior.
