These are practical, durable kits for building a clutch and a dual throttle cable for a custom project, if you can no longer find cables for your bike, or if you just feel like you can do it better yourself. In the clutch kit, one end of the inner wire is fitted with a barrel nipple nominally 6mm dia x 10mm and in the throttle kit, one end of the inner wire is fitted with a barrel nipple (nominally 6mm dia x 6mm). The opposite ends will need to be cut to length and the required nipples soldered into place. The chrome ferrules and bends are a snug fit. They may be bonded into place if preferred. You will need a basic soldering kit and basic soldering skills to solder the nipples into place. PLEASE NOTE: Our braided stainless cable kits are optimized for metric fitments and include Yamaha™ spec fittings, which may not be suitable for non-metric applications.
