Description: A 26" long necklace strand of millefiori glass beads made in Venice for the African trade, early to mid-20th century. Most of the beads have a brownish cream base color with brown and green colored stripes. There are 9 beads with thick, dark blue, lapis lazuli stripes lined up at one end of the strand. It is strung on twisted grass cord cord. Beads are approximately 3/8" in diameter. It is in fine condition.
