To be covered by our 30 day warranty the following must be followed: 1. Timing belt/chain including all pulleys and tensioners must be changed prior to installation of the engine. It must be installed to manufactures specification, with genuine parts. If you or the mechanic has any concerns with the engine before original timing chain/belt has been removed this needs to be reported immediately to us the seller to confirm or not to carry on with the works. 2. Our engines/gearboxes are drained of all fluids (on occasion there may be a small amount of residue left in pipes/sumps/filters), please ensure all of these are refilled as per manufactures guidelines and correct specifications fluids are used. All engines/gearboxes require a full service prior to installation (including all filters). 3. All engines are sold as bare (head, block, sump) unless otherwise confirmed by us or stated on the listing. All ancillaries/bolt on’s (loom, turbo, injectors, pumps, sensors, clutch kit etc.) from your existing engine must be swapped on to the replacement engine (if any ancillaries are left remaining on the engine are free of charge and are not covered by any of our warranties). This gives you the buyer peace of mind as you know the ancillaries on your donor engine are in good fully operational order. 4. Our engines are removed from accident damaged vehicles, the majority are front end damage so there maybe ancillaries/bolt on’s that have been left on our engines (free of charge) that are damaged that you will need to swap from your donor engine if there are any other damages to the engine it will be noted on the listing. 5. Warranty is only given on the bare block any ancillaries or bolt on parts that may have been left on the engine free of charge such as water pumps, oil pumps, timing belts or chains, gaskets, sensors, oil filters, diesel/fuel filters are not included in our warranty. by our 30 day warranty timing chain/belt (with new tensioners etc), water pumps, oil pumps, gaskets, sensors, oil filters, fuel filters all must be fitted to manufactures specifications. 6. We do not warranty any clutches, ECU’s/mechatronic units that may be left on our engines/gearboxes, these must be swapped with your existing units on your donor engines/gearboxes. Anybody who attempts to make a claim will be asked for OBD error messages, if the errors point to any ECU/mechatronics or the like will not be entitled to a refund or exchange. 7. We do NOT under any circumstances cover any labour costs. 8. In the event of a claim, the garage/mechanics must be a registered business have a VAT number and a registered business address, any private individuals used to install our engines/gearboxes will not be covered under our warranty. We would also require engineers/diagnosis reports with the issues noted and a clear photograph of our engine/gearbox fitted in the vehicle with our markings still on the engine/gearbox. If our markings have been removed we cannot identify this as our engine/gearbox and not refund nor can an exchange be made. We will also need to be provide with a receipt proving that all timing chain/belt has been replaced and all liquids (oils/coolants) have been replaced with manufactures approved oils/coolants to the correct levels. 9. Please ensure all engine/gearbox codes are correct for your vehicle. If an engine/gearbox is purchased incorrectly (engine/gearbox is not suitable for the vehicle you are installing it in) the buyer is liable for all shipping costs (outwards shipping and inwards shipping). 10. We do not require your original engine back as there is no surcharge on our units. We are however happy to environmentally dispose of your item if you wish. We can provide our return address and you are more than welcome to pallet it back to us and we can arrange the disposal. All claims under this warranty will be subject to a full investigation by our technicians. If it appears that the engine damage has occurred due to over heating or lack of lubrication, resulting from neglect or lack of reasonable care, or not following manufacturer guidelines, no reimbursement nor replacement will be made. If upon inspection the engine has been damaged by the malfunction of any components not supplied by the company, it will not be covered by this agreement.
