Description: Description [Used] Gibson / 1959 Les Paul Junior Cherry Gibson 1959 Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Cherry The Les Paul Junior was released in 1954 and changed from a single cutaway to a double cutaway in mid-1958. The one we have in stock this time is a 1959 model, Gibson's golden age, with a mahogany body and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is Jacaranda. The neck joint is deep and extends almost to the top of the pickup, although it is hidden by the pickguard. The neck has faded a little to brown, but the neck grip is good and it is very easy to play. The overall red color is still there, and the condition is excellent! The pickup was originally a potted 60s P-90, but is now equipped with a 1950s P-90. The Vol.Tone pot is original. The original Bumblebee capacitor is also a highlight. The pegs are original with a single row of Kluson Deluxe markings, but the 4th string peg is bent. The nut, knobs, and pickguard are all original. The frets are a little thick, so they appear to have been replaced. The resistance of the P-90 is 8.89KΩ. The sound is impeccable, with a vintage sound. Please enjoy!
