Description: You are bidding on a used Official stamp issued by Canada in 1935. The stamp is listed as Scott# O226 and is the OHMS, 4-hole type of official stamp. The stamp is the 50 cent value in the pictorial set and shows Parliament buildings in Victoria, British Columbia. While I am not a stamp dealer, I am a lifelong stamp collector and member of APS for over 40 years. Trying to winnow my collection a bit. Centering is VF-XF as perforations are well clear of the design on all sides. The stamp does have a couple of flaws including a tear (4 mm) at the bottom of the stamp and a smaller tear (1 mm) at the top of the stamp. The stamp also has "50 cents" (50 and the symbol for cents) written in pencil on the back. Please see the two photos. So this is a flawed copy of a difficult stamp to find. Shipping will be $0.89 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Payment is expected within 72 hours of auction close.
