Description: Just picked up these items at a local estate sale. This is all I could find of his service at the sale. Nothing but a google search on the squadron has been done. All I really know is LT. Col. James Chapman flew with “The Fabulous Rocketeers” 336th Fighter Interceptor Squadron of the 4th Fighter Group starting around 1954 from what I found in a google search. Not sure when he actually enlisted but I would assume prior to the conflict ending since he has a Korean War service medal. Appears to be a Vietnam war vet as well. The model is wood and Handpainted but unfortunately the jet is covered in nicotine stain. An attempt had been made previously to clean it but appears they gave up. All Ira Green replacement medals. The pilots assoc white jacket is stained up and zipper doesn’t function. There are a few photo slides as well. The best 2 are shown. The others are just down time around barracks. Emergency signaling mirror and a private purchase hygiene kit with a Silver Star razor. Razor is nice but some of the other contents are corroded and in bad condition. What you see is what you get. See pictures for more details. Thanks!
