USA First Aerial Circumnavigation 1924 Photo Bagdad Aircraft no.4 RAF Iraq Album

Description: an original Photograph of one of the Douglas World Cruiser Aircraft at Bagdad July 8th during the Round the World Circumnavigation in 1924,this is Aircraft number 4 whichwas called the New Orleans,and was one of the three original Aircraft to complete the trip from Seattle to Seattle leaving on the 6th April and arriving back on the 28th September,the photo was contained in an old 1920/30s RAF album which had mostly pictures of local scenes,raf aircraft,crew etc. some of which are shown to give contextbut the Album and other photos are not included in this auction which is purely for the photo of the Douglas aircraft and a photo of a mosque which is attached to the back of it [shown],must have been taken by an RAF crew member who spotted in on the Runway !! 205mm x 150mm [8" x 6"] approx and in excellent condition I'm afraid i have no expertise in this field so i will rely on you to properly identify the item,i am listing many more items from the collection,many unknown to me!!i have purchased from the family a huge collection of militaria and medals accumulated over a period of 50 years,the collector having recentlydied,there are over 200 medal groups and singles,1000 + cloth patches,badges and armbands,a suitcase full of Photographs etc.etc,i will be listing all of them over the coming years [many have already been sold] but i am not fully conversant with militaria as i am basically a coin dealer so if items are not correctly described please put me right,the item listed here is part of this collection!!,see pictures, thirty day full refund return guaranteebuy with confidence,read my feedback any questions please ask!,please look at my other listings,
