Description: For sale here is a great looking pair of US WW2 Theater Made Army Air Corps Army Air Forces Wings. This lot is a Pilot wing. This pair of wings is not maker marked or hallmarked. These are full sized wings that measure 2 7/8" wide. These wings are pin back with a Functional brass jewelry style pin and roller lock catch attachment. The pin and catch work well. The pin is missing some silver paint and opens 180 degrees. This wing is made of an unknown, possibly lead, heavy metal substance that has been painted silver. This is certainly a sand cast wing. It has a good amount of detail, but is a bit rough. The construction and pin assembly look just like other wings from MTO North Africa Documented groupings that i have, and this looks like it was probably made in Egypt. The wing shows little to no wear with all silver finish intact. These will make a great addition to any collection. Please see my other eBay store at Cadencemilitaria2 for more great items.
