Description: This is the uniform we were wearing in the US Navy when I retired from the Navy!Wildly unpopular and greatly ridiculed ( and for good reason ). It took me a while to get used to wearing them after wearing flight suits and green camo while serving in Navy Expeditionary Units and Spec War. But i eventually came to like this short lived uniform and now they have a sort of weird soft spot in my heart,.LoLThis particular garment is is super unique as it has the angled pockets and heavy velcro additions of a combat uniform and was most probably issued to a Riverine Squadron or other combat unit. It has a zipper enclosure instead of buttons and a bi-swing back similar to the more famous US Navy G1 Jacket. The bi-swing back allows for free movement of the arms while swimming should the person wearing the garment end up in the water! These details among a few others all point to a military blouse issued to combat units.Yet,.its literally the same thing as the much desired Vietnam era "Jungle Jacket" that collectors are always seeking.PLEASE SEE PIC for SIZElabeled Regular Large - it fits like a medium
