Description: You are buying an original US Vietnam era M1 Helmet. Please read condition description and see pics. Shell is a rear seam swivel bail with heat stamp of 7392. It has the 1960s type chinstrap. Liner is a 1965 dated infantry type. 1969 leather sweatband is present. Helmet wears a 1969 contract Mitchell camo cover, held by the camo band. Shell is in good used condition with wear and paint scrapes. Liner is in good condition with wear and paint loss. There is also a 1" crack on the right side. Webbing is all intact, but some of the A washers have rust. Sweatband leather has wear, but is still flexible.
