Description: This auction is for: A set of Early American Pressed Glass sugar, creamer and jelly jar set.It features clear glass with an oval and diamond point pattern. My research shows they are from the late 1800's.They are in antique condition and appear to be hard to find. Please see photos as the creamer does have a small crack and/or a scuff (in the pour spout area) but it does not go all the way through to both sides of the glass. There appears to be 2 cracks in the photo but I believe one is actually a pressed glass seam. There are also some minor cracks in the scalloped areas and a small flake or chip in a scallop of the creamer as well. The sugar and jam bowls have similar minor cracks in the scalloped areas but fewer of them and they are far less visible and don't show well in the photos. All 3 pieces have a fracture type area to some degree in the body, something within the glass but not going all the way through. I have described the flaws extensively so there are no surprises to the buyer, but despite the flaws from their antique age (most of which I missed at first and only saw them once the camera flash highlighted them) it's a nice collectible or usable set.The sugar bowl and jelly or jam jar measure about 3.25" tall and the creamer is about 3.5" and they all have a diameter across the top of around 3.5".As always, the price includes FREE SHIPPING within the US!!Ebay Global Shipping fees apply for all international orders.
