Description: Hello, Up for sale is a US Air Force Crewman First Aid Kit. I am not sure if this was issued to an air crew, a field crew, or both but is believed to date between the Vietnam War and 1980.I worked in a sporting goods store in 1982 and these surplused first aid kits were very popular with people who were trying to build a survival gear bag by mimicking what the military was using. This is a very nice FAK from that era. It is from my private collection. It works great with a pilot's survival gear from that era. Besides the convenient tin box, you get: 1) Various Bandages with safety pins2) Bandaids3) First Aid instruction sheet4) Various Creams5) Various tools such as tweezers, can opener, and wrench6) Small swabs on applicator stick This item is an artifact and best used as a display piece. I do not recommend this item to treat any type of emergency.
