U.S. #546 Sound Mint HR w/ Crowe Certificate

Description: U.S. #546 sound, F/VF, type III, mint hinge remaining with Crowe certificate #26981 declaring the stamp genuine and sound. I've seen #499's (see photo 4 for one example from the PF archives), offset issues and even a #500 listed as #546. I've taken all the guesswork out of this by procuring the certificate in advance so you're not waiting 60 - 90 days wondering if you're getting what you've paid for. Scott 2024 catalog value is $105. In today's environment, where virtually anyone can be an auction house, the odds are probably less than even that you will get what you pay for when buying uncertified stamps. Every seller who offers “free shipping” has already baked the shipping fees into the listing price.
